Information we collect about you

We collect information about you when you submit the information through the form on the website or otherwise make the information available for us (by phone, email, etc.). For example, we collect information about you such as your full name, phone number, email address, place of work (company name), position, technology, city, or similar, when you submit information through a form on the website when registering for the event or conference organized by SoftServe. All personal data requested in the form is mandatory and failure to provide this data may make it impossible for us to provide SoftServe services or provide you required information. In cases where it is specifically stated that some data is not mandatory, you are free not to submit this data without any consequences on the availability or the functioning of the services. We may also take photos and/or video with you during the events and use them as described in How the information about you is used section. We may collect your personal data, such as your full name, phone number, email address, place of work (company name), position, coding language, city, or similar, when you submit information through a form on the website when you are applying in order to win a prize at events, including those, which are organized and conducted not by SoftServe. Our services are not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 18 without obtaining parental consent. If you are under 18 years of age, then please do not use or access the website at any time or in any manner and do not register for the event.

We rely on the contract as a legal basis when processing your information you provide to us, since processing of your personal data is necessary for us to administer the pre-contract and contractual relationship between ourselves and our suppliers/members in connection with the performance of a contract. We will also send you marketing offers and updates about SoftServe, events and webinars announcements and information about vacancies, where we have obtained your consent. If you have consented to receive marketing, you have a right to withdraw your consent to marketing communication at any time. You may unsubscribe or update your email preferences at any time by sending an email to the address provided in the Contacting Us section. You may manage your subscriptions and you may withdraw your consent to marketing communication at any time. We can use photos and video we take during the event on our website, in social media, press releases, etc, with marketing purposes. We may also send you targeted and appropriate marketing emails including information about products and services, events or other material that will be relevant to your individual interests and process your personal information to make sure we send you only relevant, targeted information, based on our legitimate interest. Data processing and transfer

In addition to SoftServe, in some cases, personal data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of the website or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, communications agencies).
